The goal of Garner-Hayfield Elementary and Middle School is to help each child reach his/her maximum potential (Board
Policy 500). We recognize that individual potential varies greatly, and individuals often need extra assistance at various
points in their school careers. With that understanding, we have special programs available to assure that all students'
needs are met. Some students may need group or individual counseling, others may need homework help and study skills
instruction, and still others may need extra challenges and enrichment in a given subject. Please check out the programs
